The holiday season is here with all the new releases and accompanying hype. Strategy gamers are a fairly independent and informed group, so advice may not be all that necessary. Yet, not all may have their wish lists or destinations for the holiday money set in stone. For the souls still searching for that special game, I offer this list. I’ve played them all and can attest that they are nice games. Some have been around for a while but most have come out in the past year. Some are expensive but most are moderately priced – especially if gamers know where to look.
