We go crazy with a flamethrower as we check out a brutal Okinawa level from Call of Duty: World at War. 5 New Videos!

It's disturbing just how much fun the flamethrower is in Call of Duty: World at War. Using it, you get an idea why this inhumane weapon has now been banned by many nations. This is a weapon that pretty much melts people; you see them writhe in unspeakable pain as their skin blackens and they keel over and die. It is, without doubt, the signature weapon in World at War, a World War II shooter built on the superb 'Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare' engine. The flamethrower gets a lot of use in the game, particularly by the US Marines as they burn out the tenacious Japanese Imperial Army. And the flamethrower is at the heart of one of the levels in the second half of the game, called Blowtorch & Corkscrew.
