GMX Media announces that Battle of Britain 2: Wings of Victory is gold, and the World War II combat flight simulator is due for release by the end of this month (Thanks:Blue's News).
LONDON, UK (August 10th 2005) - GMX Media have today announced that work on epic flight simulation title Battle of Britain 2: Wings of Victory has been completed and the game is set for release. Scheduled for release on August 26th, Battle of Britain 2: Wings of Victory is prepped for take off and fully loaded for action.
“The finished results for Battle of Britain 2: Wings of Victory are everything we had hoped for and more ”, commented Eugene Perry, COO for GMX Media. “There are few flight sims available that evoke such an authentic atmosphere of historical combat. Wings of Victory will quickly become a must have title for any fan of flight simulation games.”
“When someone sees the game for the first time, their eyes are immediately drawn to the aircraft, virtual cockpits, visual effects, etc. Then after they sit down and spend some time playing the game, they get immersed into the whole air combat experience,” said Tim Gallagher of Shockwave Productions Inc.
