ATI just released Catalyst v8.8 drivers. Here are the release notes (PDF). Hybrid Graphics support is introduced for XP in these drivers.
"This release of Catalyst™ introduces Hybrid Graphics support. Hybrid Graphics delivers a significant 3D performance boost for systems featuring an AMD 780C, AMD 780G, and iAMD 790GX integrated graphics motherboard and an ATI Radeon HD 3400 Series or ATI Radeon HD 2400 Series graphics accelerator." 12.7 MB - 32.5 MB
