Congress to Investigate Hot Coffee Debacle

While the ESRB did re-rate Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas to an "Adults Only" rating last week, the controversy over the sex-laced modification which spurned this change has not completely abated. The Hot Coffee modification, which a couple weeks ago was railed against by politicians and activists alike, has now gotten the attention of the U.S. Congress. Last night the House of Representatives passed a new bill which orders the Federal Trade Commission to investigate the San Andreas game to see "if the publisher intentionally deceived the Entertainment Software Ratings Board to avoid an 'Adults-Only' rating."
