Ubisoft 'Ready To Go' On Clancy MMO

Gamasutra reports Ubisoft's plans to create an MMOG based on the works of Tom Clancy, announced at a conference call this evening to follow-up on today's news that Ubisoft has purchased rights to make games in the name of the thriller author. It seems Ubisoft is ready to begin development on the game as soon as a team is in place, Ubisoftt CEO Yves Guillemot is quoted saying they have been interested in such a project for a while, but have been daunted by the prospect of paying exorbitant royalties. Royalties notwithstanding they are estimating the game will have a budget between 40 and 50 million dollars.
