EVGA Releases 8800GT AKIMBO & AKIMBO Dual Slot Fan Kit

NVIDIA add-in board partners have been experimenting like crazy with the GeForce 8800 GT and the results can be quite interesting. Like in the case of EVGA's new AKIMBO cards which feature stock or higher than reference frequencies and a dual-slot cooling system that very much resembles that found on the GeForce 8800 GTS 512.
The two new cards offered by EVGA include the e-GeForce 8800GT Superior Cooling which is your basic card with stock clocks - 600/1500/1800 MHz (GPU/Stream Processors/memory) with 512 MB of memory but with the updated cooler and the e-GeForce 8800GT AKIMBO SC which is clocked at 720, 1728 and 2000 MHz for the GPU, 112 SPs and memory respectively.
In addition to the cards EVGA has made available, for the 'small' fee of $39.99, the AKIMBO Dual Slot Fan Kit which will surely be useful for those who want something better and quieter than the stock cooler.
