Acer Also Buying Packard Bell

Not only does Acer have plans to buy Gateway but, according to DigiTimes, the company also has plans to buy Packard Bell as well. Supposedly the two companies have already completed talks, including a purchase price.
"Following an announcement by Acer that it will acquire US-based PC vendor Gateway, Acer chairman JT Wang said that the company will also acquire Packard Bell to strengthen its market position in Europe."
