Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 Get New/Free Map - Screens

The team at DICE has created a brand new map for Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142. "Highway Tampa" will be made available to Battlefield 2 players for free courtesy of Intel later this month. The map for Battlefield 2142 will follow in the coming months.
Highway Tampa: The war in current and future times wages on. The most direct path for supplies and re-enforcements for both sides across the expanse of the Arabian Peninsula has been dubbed Highway Tampa. In order to ensure safe passage of critical new technological equipment, both coalitions wage fierce battles to take control over the land. The new Battlefield 2142 map features Titan mode and introduces the new Double Assault Lines game mode. For Battlefield 2 the map features the Conquest game mode. Highway Tampa is the most vehicle intensive map released to date, taking the famous Battlefield sandbox gameplay to the extreme!
