Online retailer Newegg hopes its customers will socialize with each other

Online retailer of computer hardware and accessories Newegg.com. is officially launching today its hardware enthusiast community site EggXpert.com. The new site, which was previously in an open beta, allows users to discuss on PC hardware and consumer electronics through forums and blogs.
Unlike many other hardware enthusiast forums on the Internet, EggXpert does not have an area dedicated for its members to buy, sell and trade their computer goods. In place of a traditional marketplace section are forums where users can discuss and inform each other of hot deals, even if they aren’t products from Newegg.com.
