What does it have to offer gamers right now?

The major benefits of moving to a 64-bit environment are mostly memory related. In short, a 64-bit OS removes the 2GB or 4GB memory limitations of programs, allowing for up to 16 terabytes of memory. There are other nifty features in the OS like improved stability and security, but for gaming related purposes, the relevant change has to do with memory addressing.
