Thermaltake Lanbox Computer Case Review

Thermaltake calls the Lanbox a “gaming cube,” but it's not really a cube. Technically, it's a rectangular parallelepiped, but gaming cube sounds much better. It's a modular, all aluminum case with side windows and some very nice features and options. For the metrically challenged, it measures 11.8x16.9x11 inches and weighs a measly 9.25 pounds empty. Although the die cast aluminum handle accounts for almost two pounds of the Lanbox's weight, it's well worth it, as we'll see later. This chassis accepts micro ATX and mini ITX motherboards and comes with three quiet cooling fans installed. While mATX boards were often scoffed at by gamers in the past, some very capable examples can now be found in the marketplace and can provide the foundation for an excellent gaming rig.
