Swedish game developer Lockpick Entertainment today announced the release date for what will be the next step in Massive Multiplayer Online Gaming. Upcoming Dreamlords combines the accessibility of a web game with RPG character development, RTS battles and long term tactical strategy in a never before seen gaming experience.
Lockpick Entertainment today announced the release date for long anticipated MMOG game Dreamlords. The groundbreaking game will open to the public on Thursday February 15.
In Dreamlords players assume the roles of the mystical Dreamlords, magical entities that spawn from the nightmares of the mythic Dreamer himself. Dreamlords may empower forceful methods but their presence is always welcome as they also have the power to provide goals and guidance for a fragmented piece of the old world. A world consisting of shattered pieces of land, called Patrias, home to hardened populations of survivors controlled by a sovereign Dreamlord. The success of each Patria is solely depending on the capability of its ruling Dreamlord. As well as fighting, co-operation is important in Dreamlords. All players belong to a guild, called Convergence, and cooperating within your own Convergence is necessary to be successful.
Dreamlords is a New Online Experience.
Said David Rosen, CEO of Lockpick Entertainment:
"Dreamlords represents the next level in MMOG gaming. The talented Lockpick team has managed to develop a never before seen game that blends all the best elements from three very popular genres."
"When we first set out to make this game, it was our first big project and we realised that we had a great task at hand. The first thing we addressed as being paramount was the contact with the gamers. All out during the development of Dreamlords, the feedback from the large Dreamlords community has been extremely important to us. You can certainly say that Dreamlords truly is a game developed by gamers for gamers", concludes Rosen.
