Matrix Games is offering a new patch for Forge of Freedom: The American Civil War 1861-1865 (that rolls off the tongue, huh?), updating the wargame to version 1.23 (Thx:Blue's). Here's word on the patch: "The update includes a variety of updates along with a new optimization technique to smooth audio during load sequences. 5.4 MB
