There's something delightfully vicious about the Warhammer universes. We've already seen the dark future in Relic's Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War so it's about time that the dark fantasy universe was also revisited and revitalized as real-time strategy on the PC. Much like the futuristic version of the universe, Warhammer Fantasy is set in a brutal, unforgiving world constantly torn by war between elves, men, the rampaging Orcs, dirty little Skaven, and unholy hordes of Chaos. From our early looks at the game, it was apparent that developer Black Hole was taking good care of the fiction with a ton of detail and appropriate gameplay mechanics. Warhammer: Mark of Chaos is bit of a blend of Total War and Myth and we finally had the chance to sit down and have some much needed alone time with the game.
