The Patch 1.4 Statement from DICE on the EA Forums has word that the release date for the next Battlefield 2 patch is now TBD, so clearly things have taken a turn for the worse for a patch that was planned for release yesterday. To help make up for thee delay they have posted some patch notes outlining the numerous planned bug-fixes, including another stab at the red/blue nametag bug that has plagued the game since its release. The Battlefield team follows-up this news with a statement on what's up, and a warning about the leaked beta patch.
