Most of the Total War games reward players that are willing to set a deliberate pace towards conquering and then securing their territories. While conquering the entire known world is technically possible, it tends to be easier to take chunks here and there and barter with other nations for eventual military, economic, and political supremacy. The newest expansion to Rome: Total War spits on slow and weak nations that tremble behind their stone walls waiting for reinforcements to save them. Alexander does not wait. Alexander conquers and those players that take a trip back to ancient Macedonia will find his ways to be the only course to victory.
