As promised, Electronic Arts has released new retail patches and servers for Battlefield 2, advancing the team-based 3D multiplayer action game by Digital Illusions to version 1.2 (Thanks:3DGamers). This upgrade adds a visual UAV for commanders, addresses various long-standing issues such as the Red/Blue nametag bug, and applies a sizable number of gameplay tweaks and bug fixes as detailed in the release notes. There are incremental (from v1.12) and full patches as well as Win32 and Linux servers. 358 MB (Full Patch) 81.6 MB (Inc. 1.1 - 1.2 Patch) 246 MB (Windows Server) 252 MB (Linux Server)
