Although first-person shooters have been the PC's bread and butter for years, the Western typically hasn't gotten good treatment. Lucasarts' Outlaws is arguably the best of the bunch, and it wasn't even a proper FPS. Red Dead Revolver was good but not great, and it was also third-person. So what's a guy to do for some rootin-tootin gunslinging? Well, Polish developer Techland couldn't wait anymore for us to get it right, and they're bringing us Call of Juarez some time next month. But we got our hands on a build already, since we're eager to see what's what.
