The Aerocool GT-1000 is your common heatpipe type heatsink in the sense that it uses the most commonly used configuration of three heatpipes and a dual fan shroud. The slight difference the GT-1000 does have from the others is the fact that the fan shroud does support both 92mm and 80mm both s well. So with this out of the way lets take a look at the heatsink and just see how well it does perform.
