Battlefield 2 Booster Packs Announced

Owners of Battlefield 2 will have the chance to expand their game time with two new "booster packs" later this year, mini-expansion packs available for download at a small price later this year. Battlefield 2: Euro Force and Battlefield 2: Armored Fury will each carry their own theme and a special selection of new vehicles and maps. Euro Force will include the "European Army", three new maps, new primary weapons (including the FNP90 and the Benelli Tactical Shotgun), and four new vehicles. Euro Force will be released as downloadable content through EA's Downloader Service on February 8th, priced at $9.99 (€9.99 in Europe and Ł5.99 in the UK).
