Heat is a big killer of power supplies however. And since I've yet to see a liquid-cooled power supply, this necessitates building a traditional fan and heatsink into the unit. Today I'll be taking a look at a 460 watt unit from Zalman, touted as a "noiseless" power supply. Can a modern power supply really deliver all the power that a high-end system needs and still keep quiet without losing its cool? We aim to find out!
