Beggars can't be choosers, right? Wrong!

Even with the lack of truly new, decent combat flight sims these days, we still yearn to play one that "gets it right". To that end, and after years of playing combat sims, our Shawn 'Gunny' Thrift proposes a few features that might be built into a better WWII air combat sim, specifically, one set in the Pacific Theater.

Nice job, Gunny.

Personally, I'm a big fan of extensive logs. Oleg's IL-2 / PF has the ability to track some useful stats, but they must be enabled using the conf.ini file. Why that feature isn't accessible in-game is a mystery to me.
