The guys at Neversoft have been doing Tony Hawk games for so long that it was with some small bit of surprise that we greeted the announcement of Gun, their western themed shooter. Along with that announcement came some bit of curiosity concerning how they'd deal with the genre considering their previous Tony Hawk titles and their small experience with action shooters in the past. What they've come up with is a story-driven free roaming action shooter that brings all of the nastiness of the Wild West onto your PC. Whether you're shooting, riding a horse, visiting brothels, dealing with rampaging natives, or scalping victims yourself, there seems to be a wealth of content here. After playing the first bit of Gun, something the console guys have had the chance to do on their own systems, it was clear that Neversoft is placing a huge emphasis on action here. Once things start rolling, it just doesn't stop.
