F.E.A.R. 3 Delayed Again, Now Due in May

Day 1's spooky shooter sequel F.E.A.R. 3 has again been delayed. publisher Warner Bros. has confirmed it's now slated to launch in May. The game's launch was previously scheduled for March 2011 but had originally been announced for fall 2010
"The F.E.A.R. 3 launch date will now be in May 2011, as we look to deliver the best possible game for our consumers," reads a WB statement provided to us today.
The third game in the fearsome shooter series will hit PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. While series creator Monolith isn't involved, Day 1 Studios has tapped a pair of horror veterans to provide backup; '30 Days of Night' writer Steve Niles co-wrote the script and 'The Thing' director John Carpenter helped out on in-game cinematics.
Rumours of another delay were first sparked last week by an e-mail from retailer Best Buy, received by a member of the official F.E.A.R. forum, stating that the game would launch on May 24. All Warner Bros. has to say for now is that it'll be some time in May.
