Even though there was never a "gone gold" announcement, we have been told by a 2K Games rep that Shattered Union, the "Second US Civil War" near future themed turn based strategy game from developer PopTop Software, will indeed ship to stores for the PC and Xbox on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
