World of Tanks Asserts Server Record - New Screenshots

Wargaming.net is glad to announce that the company’s MMO action game World of Tanks has set up the new world record for the maximum number of users playing concurrently on the same game server. The peak of 74,536 online players was recorded on January 5, 2011 by the Russian release version of World of Tanks.
At the same time, the global version of World of Tanks, which is still in its closed beta, has reached a personal best PCCU number topping 16,070 online players on December 29, 2010.
“The online peak has been growing steadily for the past several weeks, and the PCCU numbers shown by both World of Tanks versions are just astonishing. We are extremely proud of the scale of popularity the game has managed to gain so far.” — says Wargaming.net CEO Victor Kislyi. “The fact that Western and Russian players keep on joining the ranks of virtual tank commanders makes us believe that more records are to come”.
