Shrapnel Games announces that in spite of last month's announcement that Star and the Crescent is gold, the game is nonetheless delayed:
"Unfortunately due to a minor problem with CD production the title will not ship within the timeframe originally planned. The game is still due soon, just not as soon as expected. Currently Shrapnel Games is looking to start shipping this title on October 17, 2005."
