Medal of Honor 'won't topple COD' - EA

EA has admitted that it doesn't expect October's Medal Of Honor to outsell either Microsoft's Halo: Reach or Activision's Call Of Duty: Black Ops.
However, EA's Chief Operating Officer John Schappert claimed in the firm's Q1 2011 earnings call last night that the publisher can take the 'leadership position' in the genre within two years.
"Between Battlefield and Medal of Honor, we're going to see a substantial increase in our share against the FPS sector in calendar year '10 versus '09, '08, '07, '06, pick the year," he said. "I think we got a shot at getting back into a leadership position over the next couple of years."
