Batttlefront.com today revealed the new Infantry Fighting Vehicles in the NATO Module for Combat Mission Shock Force. Although the three nations present in the module use the Leopard 2 MBT, the mechanized infantry units use three different IFVs.
What you find in the module are two very different concepts: wheel versus track; light armored vehicle versus heavier infantry fighting vehicle.
All of them share some aspects though. All three usually carry six/seven soldiers, have a crew of three and are responsible for carrying the troops around the battlefield safely. However, the way in which this is accomplished is where they differ.
