Free New Content Released via Steam - Game now available in Australia and New Zealand
THQ has released a new movie for Chaos Rising, the Warhammer 40K Dawn of War II standalone chapter developed by Relic Entertainment (Thx:GamersHell). In Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Chaos Rising, you will take command of the Blood Ravens and defend the sector against the Chaos Space Marines of the Black Legion. You will purge the chaos filth and hold the chapter together as traitorous forces work from within to try bring down the Blood Ravens. You will upgrade your squads with new legendary wargear and unlock new special abilities, as your squads advance to level 30. Warhammer 40K Dawn of War II Chaos Rising will be available on March 11, 2010.
In addition, Blue's News reports that Steam News has announced that Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Chaos Rising and the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Gold Edition are now available in Australia and New Zealand. They also separately announce the promised free content for Dawn of War II is now available, equipping owners of the base version of Relic's sci-fi RTS sequel with the tools needed to fight the armies of chaos
