With the explosion of the home theatre market in the past decade or so, it was inevitable that the personal computer would enter the fray at some point. After all, a well-designed PC with the proper hardware can do the work of a myriad of home theatre components, and do it as well or better than all but the most high-end equipment. So, where do you find one of these magic boxes that will solve all your home entertainment problems? If you’re like a lot of PC enthusiasts, you build it yourself. One of the first decisions anyone contemplating a project like this will have to make will be to choose a chassis to put all the goodies into. While some folks would be content with having a big, beige computer case sitting in the living room, a significant segment of this group wants something more sleek and stylish. Some of the small form factor cases on the market would seem to be a good choice here, but most of these offer limited flexibility with respect to motherboard, power supply and drive choices.
