Fireteam Mode Detonates in Combat Arms

Nexon America unveiled details on the new cooperative game mode, Fireteam, set to launch yesterday, May 27 for its popular multiplayer online first-person shooter, Combat Arms. The new, eight-player cooperative mode teams players up with one another to defeat the Sand Hog, an enemy terrorist army.
Fireteam offers four-, six- or eight-player game options to pit players against hordes of computer-controlled enemies while experiencing an intense, multi-staged military mission. With three different difficulty settings (Normal, Hard and Extreme), players can earn extra life, or respawns, by reaching defined checkpoints. Fallen enemies drop ammo boxes and medical kits so players can replenish ammo and health in the field. Fireteam mode features a specially-designed map, tuned specifically for Fireteam Mode. And since each game is individually scored based on performance, players can try to earn the highest score. PRESS RELEASE
