We've been tracking the new wave of historically based RTSs for a while now and one of the ones that has been standing out is Stainless Steel Studios' upcoming Rise & Fall: Civilizations at War. The subject matter has become more familiar over the last few years with games like Age of Mythology and even Rome: Total War, but Rise & Fall has something that the others don't: an action game within the strategy game. We've had the chance to put our hands on the game briefly before, but had a more extended stay with the game at last night's Midway game event in Chicago.
