Fighter Duel is a high-performance dogfight simulator where
you can fly one of sixteen classic World War II warbirds
against up to eight enemy. It is connectable, which is its
design goal, to allow you to fly against friends via
network or kali.
FD has a very sophisticated flight model which makes flight
quite challenging. There is a demo download available which
is around 6 meg, from the RC Pilots Page. Look for a

Due for release in Q1 of 1998 from Philips Media Publishing
and developer SPGS, Fighter Duel 2 will set a new standard
for WWII flight combat simulations. Using an all new
high-performance 3-D engine, Fighter Duel 2 will have the
following features:
Incredibly detailed 3-D aircraft models.
More photo-realistic instrument panels FD2 will have a
minimum of four different instruments panels possibly more.
More than 20 different aircraft to fly new planes in
FD2 will be the P-38, ME 262, P-47, and KI-84 there will be
other aircraft but these are the definite ones.
Detailed 3D terrain and objects.
A minimum of 20 missions including ground attack and
escort missions.
Improved flight models and gunnery.
Multiplayer network missions for team fun.
Better sounds and visual effects.
More accurate flight models.
Support for 3D hardware acceleration.
