MSI‘s new GTX 780 Gaming 6 GB doubles the available video RAM over the reference design, which just has 3 GB. With the latest titles requiring 3 GB VRAM minimum for textures at Ultra, this 6 GB card could help provide a performance advantage. We will investigate this claim by using our brand-new VGA test suite.

We review the dual-GPU GeForce GTX Titan Z. The card is much talked about as NVIDIA introduced the product at prices that are incredibly high. Then Nvidia decided to refuse to send out samples to the media. To this day that fact has remained the same, however once cards get into retail they inevitably will end up with the media regardless of what Nvidia wants. So today we test the dual GPU based Titan Z. A card that created a lot of controversy, as such we’ll go in-depth once again to see whether or not this 2800 EUR product even has a chance to compete with the 1300 EUR Radeon R9 295×2.

Today we review the brand new ASUS STRIX GTX 780 OC Edition 6GB DirectCU II video card. ASUS has taken an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 GPU and wrapped it in a complete custom “silent” cooling solution and doubled the stock VRAM creating a unique package. We will look at performance and compare it to GTX 780 and R9 290X.
What is STRIX? STRIX is simply a new branding by ASUS and for video cards it will describe video cards that have its new 0dB “silent” fan technology.
