Starting at just $249, the GeForce GTX 1060 features the same Pascal-architecture technology found on the record-breaking GeForce GTX 1080 and 1070. NVIDIA today shipped out the GeForce 368.81 WHQL drivers, which are optimized for a suite of VR-Ready games. To begin with, the drivers come with optimization for NVIDIA’s VR Funhouse (a tech demonstrator that takes advantage of Simultaneous Multi-Projection); “Everest VR,” “Raw Data,” a hotly anticipated AAA VR title that made waves at E3, “Obduction,” and “The Assembly.”

You can now download the new AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition drivers release 16.7.2 which adds improved power distribution for the Radeon RX 480 as well as performance improvements as well as Doom Vulkan support.

NVIDIA released its latest version of GeForce drivers. Version 368.69 WHQL comes game-ready for “DiRT Rally VR,” one of the first AAA titles to make VR a key gameplay and experience component. The drivers also add SLI profiles for “Armored Warfare,” “iRacing Motorsport Simulator,” “Lost Ark,” and “Tiger Knight.” Interestingly, it does not include GeForce Experience 3.0 (new UI, mandatory login); and instead bundles version 2.11 of the app.

Hot on the heels of its Radeon RX 480 launch, AMD released the latest version of Radeon Software Crimson Edition. Version 16.2.2 Beta adds support for the RX 480, and introduces new features such as AMD WattMan, a manual power-management utility, CrossFire toggle, which lets you control CrossFire for supported games via profiles; HDMI scaling, new display color temperature, and Vulkan Version readout. The drivers also add CrossFire profile for “World of Tanks.”

Its now been a few weeks since NVIDIA officially launched their GTX 1080 during that time we have seen plenty of redesigns from board partners. Due to the staggered launch dates between the Founders Edition and these custom cards, many potential buyers have waited before taking a plunge into the $600+ GPU market. There’s good reason for that: the GTX 1080 Founders Edition may be a massively powerful card but it tended to throttle under load and overclocking headroom wasn’t all that great. Hence the expectation for these particular cards is quite high and EVGA’s GTX 1080 Superclocked ACX 3.0 is arguably one of the most eagerly anticipated.

NVIDIA released the GeForce 368.39 WHQL drivers. These are the launch drivers for the GeForce GTX 1070, and see the merger of GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 support with the rest of the GeForce GTX 900 and older GPUs. The drivers also come Game-Ready for “Mirror’s Edge Catalyst,” including support for the game’s “hyper details” settings that enable the highest eye-candy; and “Edge of Nowhere.”
