NVIDIA today released its latest GeForce “Game Ready” drivers. Version 373.06 WHQL comes with optimization for the week’s big game releases – “Gears of War 4,” “Mafia III,” and “Shadow Warrior 2.” This includes optimization, SLI support (on games that support multi-GPU), and GeForce Experience optimal settings.

AMD has released its latest version of its Radeon Software Crimson Edition drivers. Version 16.10.1 comes with optimization for “Gears of War 4″ and “Mafia III.” The drivers also add CrossFire support for “Shadow Warrior 2.” The drivers also correct various game-specific bugs, including the stutter and crash affecting CrossFire systems on “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided,” FPS drops with “The Crew,” surface flickers for CrossFire systems in “Battlefield 1,” and CrossFire/FreeSync users noticing flickering on “Paragon.” A Radeon WattMan bug that prevents it from applying its settings, was also fixed.

AMD has released the latest version of Radeon Software Crimson Edition. Version 16.9.2 (beta). These drivers come with day-one optimization for “Forza Horizon 3,” the latest addition to Microsoft’s smash-hit race sim. The drivers also lack the AMD Gaming app by Raptr, the app that started out at AMD’s equivalent to NVIDIA GeForce Experience. This move shaves the installer size by about 35 MB.

NVIDIA released its latest GeForce “Game Ready” drivers. Version 372.90 WHQL drivers come game-ready for “Forza Horizon 3.” This includes optimization, and GeForce Experience optimal settings. The game release, at least to owners of the “Ultimate Edition” variant, tomorrow, on 21/09. The drivers also includes GeForce Experience 3.0, NVIDIA’s game settings optimization app, which features a revamped user-interface.

AMD has released the Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.9.1 Beta drivers. The drivers add optimization for the DirectX 12 renderer of “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided,” and adds an AMD CrossFire profile for the DirectX 11 renderer of “DOTA 2.” The drivers also address flickering on certain 144 Hz displays, and some rare game crash bugs on “DOOM,” “Total War: Warhammer,” “DiRT Rally,” and “GTA V.”

AMD late Wednesday released the Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.8.3 drivers. The drivers come with optimization, including CrossFire support, for the week’s biggest game releases, “Battlefield 1″ Open Beta, and “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.” The drivers address a rare bug noticed on machines with AMD “Polaris” GPUs, in which a blank or colored screen is noticed intermittently when gaming.

NVIDIA has released the GeForce 372.70 WHQL “Game Ready” drivers. These drivers feature day-one optimization for “Battlefield 1″ Open Beta, “World of Warcraft: Legion,” and “Quantum Break” Steam release (Win32 variant, supports multi-GPU). The drivers also include a DPC fix for multi-GPU machines, building on the fix NVIDIA released for single-GPU machines in the previous release. The drivers also enable NVIDIA Fast Sync for GeForce 900 series “Maxwell” GPUs.
