NVIDIA has released the  GeForce 417.35 WHQL drivers. These drivers provide optimization to the latest update of Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition, which introduces DLSS (deep learning super-sampling), NVIDIA’s major image-quality enhancement feature released alongside “Turing.” The 417.35 WHQL update also addresses a number of issues. “Rocket League” now no longer sometimes launch with a white screen and crash-to-desktop. The “Manage GPU Utilization” tab in the Workstation settings of NVCPL on machines running TITAN V no longer appears when it shouldn’t. The drivers also fix SLI disabling after driver update on TITAN Xp SLI setups. Ansel support for “Battlefield V” is improved. Texture flickering in “Hitman 2: Silent Assassin” has been fixed. The drivers also include an updated GeForce Experience (version 3.16.0.140).

NVIDIA has released the GeForce 416.94 WHQL “Game Ready” drivers. These come optimized for “Fallout 76,” “Hitman 2,” and “Battlefield V.” NVIDIA re-listing Battlefied V, a game it already optimized for with v416.81 could mean the company may have improved performance for the game. NVIDIA confirmed that a game patch will drop “soon” through Origin, which will add NVIDIA RTX support, more so because Microsoft has resumed rolling out Windows 10 1809. The drivers also add 3D Vision profiles for “Hitman 2″ and “Fallout 76.” A minor bug that caused lagging on Windows desktop with GeForce GTX 780 has also been fixed.

AMD has released version 18.8.1 Beta of its Radeon Software Adrenalin drivers that keep your graphics card’s performance equal to that of a well/oiled machine (figuratively, of course). The new software version brings driver-level support and improvements for the upcoming (and highly awaited) Monster Hunter: World. for that game, this driver release promises up to 5% and 6% increased performance on AMD’s RX Vega graphics card and RX 580, respectively, compared to AMD’s 18.6.1 driver release at 1080p.

This driver also adds support for World of Warcraft : Battle for Azeroth, We Happy Few, and Madden NFL 19. Another interesting additions are the extended functions for the Vulkan API, supporting more commands than previous driver versions.
