Focus Entertainment and New World Interactive are thrilled to announce the launch of a new major content update for Insurgency: Sandstorm with Update 1.17 Operation: Resurgence.

Available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, Microsoft Store and Epic Games Store, this Operation brings Global Crossplay to the game, as well as new weapons, the return of Skirmish as a limited-time game mode, free cosmetic DLC sets and patches. Newly added premium cosmetic DLC sets are now available in the Ultimate Edition, the Year 3 Pass, or for individual purchase.

FREE CONTENT INCLUDED IN OPERATION: RESURGENCE

The long-awaited Global Crossplay feature is now available in Insurgency: Sandstorm! PC, PlayStation and Xbox players can now enjoy Versus and Cooperative modes together.

To celebrate this release, Skirmish has been added to the pool of limited-time game modes. Capture enemy objectives, destroy their weapon cache, and fight in highly tactical matches with players from all platforms.

With Operation: Resurgence, three new assault rifles are coming to the game: the tactical WCX rifle for Security, the Italian AR-7090 for Insurgents, and the F2000 bullpup rifle for both teams.

In addition to these weapons, players can also enjoy free cosmetic DLCs for each faction: the Pockets weapon skin set and the Survivor gear set for Security, and the National pride skin set and the Revolt gear set for Insurgents.
