    • Campaigns.
    • Mission Editors.
  • Modern military or historical articles and interviews.
    • Interviews with Veterans.
    • Essays on vintage aircraft.
    • First-person accounts from pilots, navy, army personnel.
  • Guides for hardware, peripherals, specialty products.
    • Step-by-step installation guides.
    • Tweaking for performance.
    • Home-brewed components and devices.
  • Gaming community lifestyle and human interest stories.
    • Forum life, personalities, overviews of threads.
    • Event coverage.
    • Personal perspectives on life as a sim and strategy game fanatic.

Our regular contributors handle most previews and reviews of games and gaming hardware; however, if you feel you are eminently qualified to review something we might normally not look at, send us an email.

Sending Articles and Payment Terms:

You may send us your completed article on a speculative basis, or start with a query letter that outlines the direction you'd like to follow. Should we accept your article, and you agree to our copyright terms, the payment amount will be negotiated. Payment is made within thirty days of your article's publication on the site. NB: We will always give you an opportunity to see your completed article before it is published on the site.

Please keep in mind that you cannot say you are writing an article for COMBATSIM.COM before we have accepted and approved the story. Most everybody understands this but we thought it should be stated. Also, no one except COMBATSIM.COM head office staff may request games or hardware from companies for the purpose of completing a story. If you need a game or a piece of hardware to complete your story, we will obtain it for you and have it shipped to your location. If you already own the game or hardware then this does not apply.

  • HTML: Don't worry about that. We'll do it.
