Date: August 15, 2001Article Type: Retrospective By: Jim "Twitch" Tittle What sets combat simulations apart from most other PC games, is that they are rooted in reality. After all, life doesn't get more real than when you are in an actual war. This fact has given us the opportunity to not only publish combat sim game articles, but also articles about the real military and military history. When we want a military history article, there is only one man we go to and his name is Jim "Twitch" Tittle. Jim has been collecting books on things military since he was a wee lad. Over the years, Jim has met with and interviewed many of WWII's fighter aces from all sides of the conflict. We feel privileged to have Twitch and his writings because it's important to remember that the games we play came at a price---a price too often paid for in blood.
