Thomas Rudder Pedals
By Kurt Giesselman

Construction like this is not inexpensive. The pedals will cost you about the same as a set of original Thrustmaster RCS go for on eBay, $175(USD). They will, however, last forever I am sure (in fact the lifetime guarantee assures that).

The pedals may be purchased with one accessory, a joystick stand, for US$60. This is certainly a good price for the combo. The stand places the stick between your leg (perfect for helicopter and World War I and II sims. The pedals are so heavy and solid that the joystick feels like it is embedded in rock.

The joystick stand

My conclusion is that this is the most ruggedly built set of rudder pedals on the market. You must remove the cover to tilt the pedals to realistic angles for aircraft (or convince Thomas Enterprises to move the pedal pivot point aft like I am trying to do).

The pedals are beautiful without the cover so nothing is really lost either way. They are priced higher than most(but not all) other pedals on the market but it shows in their construction. When combined with the joystick stand the setup is a rock solid platform for flight simulations. So as in the famous words of Marilyn Monroe, "It's expensive, but I'm worth it." Are you?
