1600Z: Rogue Spear Petition
- The RSE Plug-in Petition that has been started to help encourage Red Storm Entertainment to release the plugins so gamers can create new levels for the Rainbow Six series of games will be closing on Friday, August 4th. They are hoping to enough signatures will be gathered to show RSE that there is a significant interest in seeing users able to create new maps like in Quake engine games. Click HERE to sign.
1545Z: Matrox Drivers Fix
- There was an installation error in the Win 9x driver BETA version 6.01.015 released on July 26th. That error has been corrected and the driver has been re-released. Click HERE for more info.
1535Z: Gunman Info
- Gunman is a fast-paced futuristic 3D-shooter based on the Half-Life engine, by Valve Software. Although it uses the Half-Life engine, Gunman is a completely new stand alone game, taking place in a universe unfamiliar to Half-Life veterans. News on Gunman can be viewed HERE.

0425Z: Spec Ops2 - Operation Bravo
- We spoke with John Williamson at Zombie on Friday for the latest details on Operation Bravo, the free add-on coming soon for Spec Ops2. Operation Bravo will be available in two flavours, one for Direct 3D video card owners (GeForce, TNT etc), and one for Voodoo (3dfx). Each version is a 15-20 Mb download with one mission pack. Future mission packs will be be released at later dates. For those who can not wait for the downloads, Spec Ops Platinum Edition will have all 40 new multiplayer missions, Operation Bravo, Spec Ops2, Spec Ops 1, and the Spec Ops Bravo for $20-30 USD. You should see Operation Bravo available for download and Spec Ops Platinum in a few weeks on store shelves.

- CH have informed us that their USB Fighterstick and USB Pro Throttle have entered Alpha testing. The first showing of the new devices will be at the ECTS trade show in London from September 3rd to the 5th.

- FlightGear version 0.7.4 is now available for download. The FlightGear Flight Simulator project is a free, open-source flight simulator project.
