Well, once again I haven't been able to talk to all of you as much as I had intended. The next patch deals primarily with Multi-Player, though it includes a variety of other fixes or enhancements as well. My current estimate to complete this patch is early June. This date is dependent on many things, some of which are not in my control. This is a guess only, based on the current state of the code.
Here is a listing of some of the things that you can expect to find in the next patch:
- Speed brake max. extension w/ gear down is now 43 Degrees
- Can now drop centerline weapons (but not ECM/Camera) with the middle OSB (moved from wrong OSB button)
- After using autopilot, MFD now shows correct number of weapons
- Fixed AI Ripple fire in dogfight
- Improved SIM BVR combat
- "New Guy" sound on RWR enabled
- Radar Lock sound on RWR enabled
- Missile Launch sound on RWR enabled
- Keys for exit menu now match display
- SAM launch voice call now correct, no longer always southwest
- Fixed target sorting problem w/GM Radar - Target under cursor is now selected
- USB Joystick Support
- Matched object list to callsigns in ACMI
Connection reliability and stability in all game types have been improved. Callsigns appear on all player aircraft allowing easy identification of players Random "Ghost" aircraft have been removed Warping long distances upon dynamic reentry has been removed Reduction of bandwidth requirements for all messages AI Brains simulated on a machine are transfered to another machine on player exit ROE now works for all types of games Chat messages stay on screen longer and have a sound cue Dogfight matchplay end of round scoring is now correct

- Mapping of digital POV hats for joysticks
- AWACS "Picture" call now reports threats before non-threats
- Removed limit on movement of HUD AOA Bracket- FPM on HUD now moves outside of AOA bracket as it should
- Keyboard throttle now works correctly
- Implemented incremental keyboard throttle with joystick - If joystick is connected,
- keyboard can be used to make fine adjustments
- Able to damage runways with bombs again
- Removed wheel brake noise when gear is gone - If gear collapses, wheel brake no longer played
- Autopilot being turned on and off repeatedly no longer causes player to be teleported a short distance away from the current location

- Loiter waypoint altitudes fixed, A/C no longer spiral into the ground
- Prop planes no longer have jet engine sounds
- Show Score key (Alt + R) now works
- ATC Controller is more patient, reduced time between calls for player A/C AI's never taxi around wingmen now - Flights stay together, but one flight can taxi around another flight. Flights will follow flight lead.
- If an aircraft will be human controlled, that aircraft stops at hold short line until human enters aircraft
- Wrong way and off runway takeoffs fixed
- Now use a 1 minute spacing between landing flights, time was increased
- ATC now won't call "taxi clear" to out-of-fuel planes
- Should not get incorrect "get clearance before landing calls"
- When human takes over A/C on ground, it no longer turns to face north just before human enters cockpit
