SDOE Mission Making Tutorial - Part 2

Now we move onto the P51 squad. Since they are an American unit we have to change their squad name before giving them a briefing.

Right click on them and open the Properties popup. Change the Squadron to the Jolly Rogers and close the window.

Now select them in the briefings popup and under the Briefing tab type in:

You will be clearing the flak cover from Le Touquet for some Lancasters coming in to bomb the town. After you do that provide air cover for them until they leave on the flight home.

Now select the Success debrief tab and type in:

Mission well done. Attacking flak isn’t anyone's idea of a fun job but it has to be done. Thanks for your courage and I’m sure the Lancaster crews are grateful.

Under the Failure debrief tab type in:

Thanks for trying, but you will have to get some practice and do better. The loss of a Lancaster and crew isn’t something to be taken lightly.

Save the Mission as simple7.mis

Go in and test the squads to see if they show up properly. You will have to switch which country you’re under to see the other squads in the mission select screen.
